More Knitterly

Or Knitterfly as I mistakenly called it. Look at all those accessories. Makes me want to learn to knit. Or knot. Hee hee.

Knitterly, Petaluma

Wall of buttons at Knitterly in Petaluma. Lily and I stumbled upon this place on our way to Heebeejeebees. Neither of us knits but this wall of buttons got my attention. I bought skull and crossbones buttons. What a great store. I just wanted to hang out in there.

CompetoMom

Ask me any other day of the week and I’d say I don’t care if my daughter’s middle school volleyball team wins or not — it’s how they play the game, right?

But on Saturday mornings, it’s a different story. It’s game day. Throwing off my mild-mannered nice mom persona, I turn into CompetoMom.

In loving remembrance of...

Here's another little Halloween piece I put together. I glittered up a spider and glued it to a card holder for display. The vintage funeral card features Hanna M. Johnson, a Norwegian woman born March 12, 1856 and passed away on Dec. 20, 1922. The card says "Alder 66 ar 9 manader 8 dagar."

Pink coffin

I made this pink coffin for my friend who's scrapbook store is decorated in pink and black.

More Halloween to come.

St. John's grlz

Erin, Ava and Csilla get ready for another day of school. Ava just got her hair cut in this sassy little bob.

Allie behind the wheel

Here's Allie behind the wheel of cousin Kristy's 1964 Chevy Biscayne. Isn't it cute? Notice aqua colored interior and leopard print upholstery.

A higher calling.

The pope is in our house. Well, at least his photo is.

What am I, a papal fanatic? Nope, but there he is anyway, hanging right outside our bedroom. I even paid good money to have him enclosed in archival UV protective glass with a complementary colored frame and matting.

Not a $20!

A friend's wife put this sticky note on his fifty dollar bill.
