There's a (Royal) app for that.

Royal wedding watchers can now get their fill of wedding trivia and info using the new Royal Weddings App. That's right, an Royal app for your smartphone. How clever is that?

According to the Royal Collection, the organization that created the app, "The Royal Weddings app tells the story of seven royal weddings, from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1840, to TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall in 2005."

"Royal Collection Apps are the latest way that the Royal Household is engaging with new media."

And that's not all. The Royal Wedding app is the first in a series of "Royal Collection Apps" that will be launched this year. I'm hoping there's an app for each of my favorite royals.

The only surprise is that the app isn't free. Available "18 April 2011" it will cost £1.79. That's about $2.50 to you and me.
